4/20: Hollywood Sign via Innsdale Trail and Mt Lee Drive w/ Kaitlynn Sandstrom-Mistry

Kick off your Spring Quarter by joining us for a 4.4 mile hike to the Hollywood Sign. This will be a fairly moderate hike with around 784 feet of elevation gain and is a great way to start checking off your LA bucket list by hiking to such an iconic landmark. The hike will also have incredible views of the city and will be a great way to get outside to enjoy the warm weather!

We will be joined by Kaitlynn Sandstrom-Mistry, a PhD student at the Insitute of Environment and Sustainability. Kaitlynn’s research focuses on applying economic data to the interconnectedness of water and energy usage. She has served as a teaching assistant for several classes in the Environmental Science department such as Introduction to Environmental Science and Programming with Environmental Data. She also has experience working for the Environmental Protection Agency.
