Join us as we travel along the Ballona Creek Trail into Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area! This trail features beautiful views of the creek, and includes some moderate elevation gains.
Dr. Tara Prescott-Johnson, from UCLA's Writing Programs department, will be joining us for this hike. Her research interests include writing pedagogy, twentieth- and twenty-first century American literature, modernism, poetry, graphic novels, and gender studies. Some of the courses she teaches include English Composition 3 and 3SD (Civic Engagement & Diversity), English Composition 131C (Medical Narratives), Honors 19 (James Joyce’s Ulysses), and Honors 87W (The Art of Neil Gaiman).
